Shipping & Delivery
Shipping charges for US deliveries are based on the current published rates of the United States Postal Service and FedEx and will include Tracking/Delivery Confirmation, and also insurance on all orders. An email notifying you of your purchase being shipped will be sent out with the tracking number.
Please make sure you have the COMPLETE, CORRECT ADDRESS for where you want your purchase delivered, including the Suite, Room, Office, Building or Apartment number. Missing those identifiers means an added delay in the delivery and sometimes deliveries are turned away because of a lack of final identifying address markers. We have NO control over this, this is how gated or private communities, business office buildings and also military bases and military housing complexes operate with regard to security. As such, we will not be held responsible for undelivered or mis-delivered packages.
At this time, Botanica Basics LLC sells and ships merchandise to locations within the United States and Puerto Rico.
International: We also ship to Canada, and the United Kingdom. Accepting an International Order is at our discretion; If we suspect fraud, we will refuse the order and report it to our Merchant Processor and PayPal. We ship via USPS SMALL PACKAGE (4lb limit) or GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL. This is the most economical way to ship Internationally. We are unable to track or insure these packages using this shipping method. FedEx may be requested, but this will incur a significant Shipping Cost up-charge because it is an International delivery. All Taxes, Customs, Import Charges and VAT are the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. Contact your local customs or tax office for details.
Custom Forms will be filled out with the exact nature and price of the products contained within the package. NO EXCEPTIONS! Import/Custom laws vary in each country. It is your responsibility to check with a Country's Customs office to verify whether your country -or the the country you are shipping to- allows the shipment of our products/your purchases. Botanica Basics is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, consequential or inconsequential damages that may arise from any proper or improper international shipping practices or Customs requirements. At no time will Botanica Basics refund payment because your purchase was refused or rejected by a Customs Official or Customs Inspection.
Shipping Turn Around Time
Unless other arrangements have been made (back orders, special orders, etc) your purchase will be shipped in 2-3 business days, but please allow extra time during busy periods like gifting holidays or weather extremes. If you/your recipient has not received the order within 10 days (25 International), please contact us. US Orders are shipped out Monday - Wednesday to avoid sitting over the weekend in a hot or freezing delivery truck. US Orders going west of the Rockies are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays only.
To facilitate Payment Fraud Prevention, Priority Mail Express, Next Day Express, 2 Day Express and Global Express Shipping is not available. There is NO EXCEPTION to this policy.
Due to the nature and composition of our products, along with various Local, State and Federal health and sanitation regulations, we cannot accept returns on any products. They are handmade, natural based cosmetic products. However, we will always work with you to secure your satisfaction. This may require sending us back the product you are dissatisfied with or submitting pictures of the damaged item. Please read all product descriptions and their respective ingredients BEFORE purchasing them. If you are unsure of a product's ingredients, we have Sample Sets available for purchase at a modest price. Please contact us if you have any questions about a product of ingredient.
Certain items will soften or liquefy in warmer weather and conversely some products will harden in colder weather. This is a natural occurrence as our products do not contain mineral oils or artificial waxes, or synthetic hardeners. If it is very warm when delivered, please place in a cool area and allow to settle down to room temperature. If delivered in very cold/freezing weather allow the product to come to room temperature.
